New Patient Information

We take your smile seriously. Our first concern is to control any active dental infection. Most dental disease is the result of acute or chronic infection, and virtually all disease can be prevented with daily plaque control. Our staff will instruct you in a custom-designed home dental care program, and we’ll work closely with you to see that your natural teeth and your dental restorations are properly cared for. These activities promote life-long oral health and drastically reduce the need for dental repairs.

Your First Visit

At your first visit, you’ll receive a thorough examination and diagnosis. Your examination may include digital X-rays of your teeth and supporting structures, as well as casts of your teeth. These diagnostic tools enable Dr. Presser to develop a personalized treatment plan to address your current dental needs and long-range goals. Keeping your smile healthy is an effective, cost-conscious way to promote long-lasting oral, and overall, health. Our goal is to discover if your teeth, bones, and/or soft tissues present any evidence of disease. In addition, the doctor will evaluate the relationship between your teeth, joints, and associated muscles.

Dr. Presser will relay his findings and discuss your options so that you can make informed decisions regarding your dental care. Charges for your initial consultation and X-rays will be credited toward your treatment, if applicable.

Payment & Insurance Information

To pay for your dental care, you may use American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. Financing is available through CareCredit. Financing your dental treatment allows you to make affordable monthly payments on your dental treatments with no interest for up to 12 months. Please visit the CareCredit website for details.

We file insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients; however, payment for treatment is expected on the day that it's performed. This allows us to keep our prices affordable and focus on what's in the patient's best interest, rather than allowing the insurance company to dictate which treatments we provide. When we receive payment from your insurance company, we will reimburse you directly. Please contact your insurance company if you have questions about coverage amounts and/or benefits.

Emergency Dental Care

Dr. Presser provides on-call emergency care for established patients of our practice. Please call our Philadelphia dental office when your emergency occurs. You’ll be directed to come in during office hours, or our after-hours answering service will contact the dentist for you.
